Regulatory signs –

              Most of the signs under this category come with a round shape. In this category, most of the signs indicate a red border inside with a black symbol and white background while some others can be depicted in blue circles with white symbols within. These regulatory or mandatory signs indicate rules that should be followed strictly. Otherwise, the driers will be punished and receive a challan for their violation.

	One Way	"One Way" suggests that the vehicles must go in a single direction (ଏକ ଦିଗ - ଏହା ଦର୍ଶାଇଥାଏ ଯେ ସମସ୍ତଯାନ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିଗରେ ଆଗକୁ ବଢିବେ)
	Vehicles Prohibited in Both Directions	The "Vehicles Prohibited in Both Directions" sign suggests the area ahead is blocked from both sides.  ( ଉଭୟ ଦିଗରୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ ନିଷେଧ ) - ଏହା ଦର୍ଶାଏ ଯେ ଆଗରେ ଉଭୟ ଦିଗରୁ ରାସ୍ତା ଅବରୋଧ ଅଛି ।)
	Right Turn Prohibited	The sign directs the driver to not take the right turn (ଏହା ଚାଳକକୁ ନିର୍ଦେଶ ଦିଏ ଯେ ଡାହାଣକୁ ବଙ୍କାନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ । )
	Left Turn Prohibited	The sign directs the driver to not take the left turn. (ଏହା ଚାଳକକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଏ ଯେ ଡାହାଣକୁ ବଙ୍କାନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ । )

	Overtaking Prohibited	This sign indicates that overtaking is not allowed (ଏହା ଚାଳକକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଏ ଯେ କୌଣସି ଗାଡିକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ । )

or	No Parking	This sign is very significant in major cities. It prohibits the parking of a vehicle in a designated area. Any vehicle parked here is towed away and the occupant/driver is liable to penal action. 	Speed Limit	The driver should not surpass the speed mentioned on the Speed Limit sign (ଗାଡିର ବେଗ - ଏହା ଚାଳକକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଏ ଯେ ଗାଡିର ବେଗ ସଙ୍କେତରେ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ସଂଖ୍ୟାରୁ ଯେପରି ଅଧିକ ନ ହୁଏ ।)
	Width Limit 2M	This sign indicates the width of the vehicle, which is allowed to enter the zone beyond its installation. A vehicle with a width above 2 meters is restricted to enter this zone. 	Width Limit 3.5M	There are certain roads which pass under bridges, railway lines etc. of low height. To avoid any untoward incident authorities earmark the height of the vehicle which can easily pass under the bridge. The specified limit should be strictly adhered to avoid accidents and penal action. 	Length Limit 10M	This sign on road indicates the length of the vehicle, which can be maneuvered through that passage. It could be a sharp turn, a hairpin bend, etc. This is meant for long and oversized vehicles, which cannot negotiate a safe turn. 	Truck Prohibited	A sign, itself speaks the area designated as a no-entry zone for Trucks or HMV. These could be narrow lanes or congested areas where entry of heavy transport vehicles could obstruct the smooth flow of traffic. (ଟ୍ରକ ନିଷେଧ - ଏହି ସଙ୍କେତଟି ଦର୍ଶାଏଯେ ଏହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଟ୍ରକର ପ୍ରବେଶ ନିଷେଧ ଅଟେ ।)
	Cycle Prohibited	In order to ensure the safety of Cyclists, certain roads, which are meant for fast-moving vehicles are prohibited for Cyclists. So the Cyclists should not use the roads where this sign has been installed. (ସାଇକଲ ନିଷେଧ - ଏହି ସଙ୍କେତଟି ଦର୍ଶାଏଯେ ଏହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସାଇକେଲର ପ୍ରବେଶ ନିଷେଧ ଅଟେ । ସାଇକେଲ ଚାଲକଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଏହି ସଙ୍କେତଟି ଦିଆଯାଇଥାଏ କାରଣ ଅନେକ ଯାଗା କେବଳ ଦୃତ ଗତିରେ ଧାବନ କରୁଥିବା ଯାନ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ହୋଇଥାଏ ।)
	No Lane Change	This sign indicates no vehicle should not change its lane from one side to another  (ପଥ ବଦଳାଇବା ମନା  - ଏହି ସଙ୍କେତଟି ଦର୍ଶାଏଯେ କୌଣସି ଯାନ ଯେଉଁ ପଥରେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହେଉଥିବ ସେ ଦୁଇ ପଥ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଫାଙ୍କଦେଇ ଅନ୍ୟ ପଥକୁ ଯିବା ମନା ।)
	Compulsory Bus Stop	This sign shows that all buses (public transport) will compulsorily stop at this place.  (ବସ ରହିବା ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ - ଏହି ସଙ୍କେତଟି ଦର୍ଶାଏଯେ ସବୁ ଜନସାଧାରଣ ବସଗୁଡିକୁ ଏହି ଜାଗାରେ ରହିବା ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ ।)
	No Stopping / No Standing	Some roads demand a continuous flow of traffic and stopping one vehicle disrupts the whole traffic flow. In these areas, No Stopping signs are installed. Any vehicle stopping at these places could meet an accident and also a penal action.               In this category, signs are featured with the red triangle border with a smaller black graphic inside. These signs give warning to the road-users about the potential danger ahead, for example, turn and curve warning, lane transition warnings, and pedestrian crossing warnings.
